Hi, and welcome to ExploreTravel! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Meenakshi, a travel explorer and digital nomad with a deep love for discovering new places and sharing stories along the way. What started as a spontaneous backpacking trip in 2016 turned into a life changing journey and I haven’t stopped traveling since.

I created ExploreTravel to be more than just a blog. It’s a space for fellow wanderers, daydreamers, and aspiring bloggers to find inspiration, gather practical travel tips, and feel empowered to create their own adventures on the road and online.

How It All Started

My passion for travel was sparked in college, after a semester abroad in France, Spain, Italy, and Germany. Experiencing life in a completely different culture lit a fire in me, I was hooked on the feeling of exploration, connection, and stepping outside the familiar. A few years later, I left my 9 to 5, packed a one-way ticket, and began building a location independent lifestyle centered around travel and storytelling.

To date, I’ve explored over 15 countries across 5 continents, from trekking in the Andes to working remotely from seaside cafes in Southeast Asia. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to partner with travel brands, get featured in travel publications, and grow a loyal community of curious, kind-hearted readers.

Through it all, I’ve stayed grounded in my mission: to inspire meaningful travel and help others create freedom through storytelling and online work.
